I have nominated our tax advisor as my PER supervisor since my manager is not qualified. The tax advisor got a link from ACCA to register and attach his qualification (he is IFAC qualified but not ACCA).
It has now been days since he has done so and yet is still showing as “waiting” on my PER portal meaning that the ACCA has not finalised his registration yet and I am not able to submit my performance objectives for him to review and approve.
I have tried contacting the ACCA via the website and email but have had no response. I have also tried to call the ACCA all week but no one answers the phone.
I’m not sure whether the ACCA is just reviewing the qualification submitted or whether there was an issue during the registration and something needs to be corrected or re-submitted.To be perfectly honest I think all staff in ACCA will be swamped this week with exam-related tasks – if you used the form https://forms.accaglobal.com/contact-us and selected the PER option (2nd from bottom of the drop down menu) I am sure someone will get back to you.
