Dear Tutor,
Please is there any difference btw measure and target? and if there is, how do we difference them and how do we set a measure and target in a typical business environment?
I am a bit confused as I am working on March 2020 question two regarding measure and target.
Thanks for your help.
A measure is simply something you measure eg sales volume. A target is what you would like the measure to report uf that sales volume has reached 10,000 units by the end of the year.
Thanks,
So is it correct to say, for example, staff productivity is a measure, achieving 100 units per hour is a target
The measure is also the KPI, right?
You are correct. The measure is the KPI, but the term KPI is reserved for the most important and vital measures.
Thanks Mr Ken, for the clarification.
God bless you
