    Hi,

Are current issues likely to appear in some form or another in every AAA exam, in the same sort of way it is examined in the SBR paper?

If so, are there any resources we can use to study for these as I could not see anything related to this in the Open Tuition notes so a bit lost around this area of the syllabus.

    Thanks

    Thank you.

So basically to summarise that post – any current issues or ED’s that are examinable will be ones that have a technical article written on them on ACCA’s website?

If EDs – definitely but this applies only to “pronouncements” so is not guaranteed for any current issue. For example, a scenario could make an issue out of auditor rotation which is by no means a new issue and already an ethical consideration (“long association”) – the topic isn’t precluded from the exam just because there isn’t an ED on the subject.
