Hello sir . Can please tell me if Coaching and lectures are on the job or off the job?
There was this question in bpp which of following are on the job training methods
1) day release
2) job rotation
3) coaching
4) temporary promotion
I though only 2 and 4 are on the job but my answer is wrongOn-the-job means training as you are actually performing the tasks.
Job rotation means shifting round various functions so you learn as you experience other roles.
Coaching – eg going out with an experienced sales person making calls on customers.
Temp promotion gives training for the next stage of your career.
All the above are OTJ.
Lectures are in a lecture room, learning but not doing the job then. It is off the job.
