    Hi,

I ‘m really stuck with my AFM studies and don’t know how to continue. I have failed exam 2 times, first with 42% in March and then in September with 24%. I have spent quite a lot of time studying..In exam results I also see no logic at all.
Now I start readig BPP study book and see that there are different methods used than in your lectures. For example when yield for bond should be estimated in book it is suggested to use a formula which for me seems to be quite complex, in your lectures you advice to look for IRR which for me is more logically, just may be takes more time because of doing 2 guesses.
When I listen your lectures everything seems to be very understandable and clear, but when I start doing Excersises from BPP Revision kit, it looks hat I havn’t learned anything..
It seems I have tried both methonds and nothing works form me. Seems that reading the study book is also making a biger mess as there are more details than in your lectures.

To pass AFM exam seems already for me to be “mission impossible”. May be you can advice me how to proceed? Seems that I ‘m spending my time studying, but it is not bringing any result.

    Thank you very much!

Make sure that you have read and understood all of the ACCA technical articles.

Keep practicing questions in your Revision Kit, and ask in this forum if you are unclear about anything in the answers or anything in the technical articles.

No – there is no limit and so I do not know why your topic does not show.
