The cash book i know, the bank and cash are separated with the 3 column cash book, so we know which transaction received by cash or bank.
But the image i shown above combined them into one T table. So basically debit is still received money (but we dont know which is by cash or bank), same goes for credit side. Whats weird is that why is there balance on both side? The bank is overdraft and the cash is debit

However the question you linked to is on club accounts and club accounts were removed from the syllabus for Paper FA many, many years ago.
In addition you cannot be asked to write up cash books (2 columns or otherwise) in the exam!
