    Hello Sir,
The question is in BPP revision book starting as follows:
Newtown School’s head teacher has prepared the budget for the year ending 31 May 20X4. The government pays the school $1,050 for each child registered at the beginning of the school year, which is June 1, and $900 for any
child joining the school part-way through the year.
My question – 1) How did they calculate the salaries I mean why did they divide it by 2 ?
    2) As there is an increase in the salary then it will be a retrospect effect right ?

    Thanks in advance !

    1. The salary is to increase half way through the year, so for half the year it will not increase and for the other half it will increase.

    2. Why on earth will there be a retrospective effect? If there is a salary increase then it will only apply from the date that it is increased.

Oh my god.. I do not want to loose marks because of my silliness ..
I read the question again and realized that I misunderstood it.. oh my god I feel stupid.
Apologizes I will take care of asking relevant and real questions only .
    Sorry
