Dear Sir,
I wanted to confirm that while calculating log values I took 3 decimal places and because of which my whole answer is varying from the one in the book so can you please let us know how many decimals should we take (please note that I know that in questions sometimes it is been already mentioned but it was not the case for this one and also I assume that for most of the case value of b is provided) but what if its not like the one I solved .Thanks in Advance!
You will not be expected to calculate logs in the exam – questions either involve doubling or, if the formula is needed, then ‘b’ will be given in the question.
I do not know which question you are referring to. I cannot believe that it is either a past exam question or in the BPP Revision Kit. However you will not be penalised for rounding to three decimal places in the exam for any calculations.
Please do tell me the number of the question in the BPP Kit (assuming you are using the current edition)? Unless I have missed one then every question that needs a value for ‘b’ gives the value. (Obviously it is not needed when it is simply doubling)
