Is controllable profit before tax or after tax?

Tax is not relevant because controllable profit is a way of measuring a divisional managers performance and divisions do not pay tax.

Oh no, I chose profit after tax and net controllable assets in the ROI calculation in my exam, but I believe I have made sensible comments on my figures.
