    Dear John Sir,

Sir could you give examples justifying this statement- “the problems of implementing rolling budgeting are different from the problems of using rolling budgets on an ongoing basis”?

    thank you!

Where are you getting all these quotes from? If they are from a text book then surely the textbook gives examples. If they are quotes from examiners answers then it often depends on the information in the actual question.

I would assume here that by ‘problems of implementing’ they mean the fact that the people preparing the budgets need training in exactly what is involved in preparing rolling budgets, given that when it is first implemented they will only be used to preparing budgets once a year.

I would assume that the ‘problems of using’ relates to the fact that targets keep changing every month and it also makes variance analysis more complicated.
