Dear sir, I had given F5 exam in paper based but I couldn’t pass. September 2020 have a plan to give F5 again and it is going to be remote exam . I am wondering about the format of the exam, will it be only multiple choice questions or section A 15 questions,B 3 questions with Each 5 multiple choice and C with 2 Long questions?
What are the new chapters for F5?
Thank you in advance
July 24, 2020 at 9:10 am #577813It is no longer called F5 – it is Paper FM.
The format will still be the same with three sections.
The new chapters (and lectures) are the last three chapters in our free lecture notes.

Section C is with 3 long questions. So, giving exam on the computer with long answer will definitely depends on typing. Now I am stressing . Do you have any tips for that ?
Thank you so much
Open tuition is the bestJuly 24, 2020 at 7:47 pm #577850Yes – it will depend on typing, but do not get stressed about it. It is no worse than having to write by hand 🙂
If you go to the ACCA website you will find specimens of the computer based exams so that you can see for yourself what they are like. The remote exams are the same as the computer based exams.

Sorry for the many questions. If the remote exams are the same as the computer based exam , there should not be long questions. Isn’t it? what I understand, the computer based means either multiple questions or choose 2 answers or choose from the drop down. Could you please make me clear.I really appreciate with your help sir .
I have been studying from the open tuition since 2012 .July 26, 2020 at 9:35 am #578088There are long questions in the computer based exam (in Section C) just as there used to be in the paper based exams. Instead of writing out the answers by hand you do them using the word processor and spreadsheet software that is provided as part of the exam on the computer.
You can find specimens of the computer exams on the ACCA website so as to see what it is like (and of course you will have lots of exam standard questions in your Revision Kit).
