    what does it mean by saying FT index of the company has increased but the share price haven’t.

    There is no such thing as the ‘FT index of a company’.

    The FT index is measuring the overall/average of the prices of all the shares in the index. Each individual share price might have gone up, gone down, or stayed the same.
