Hello Sir,
sir is profit centre simply responsible for checking on revenue centre and cost centre, deducing whether the company makes a net revenue or net loss. And if this is the case how can the performance of the profit centre be gauged?
Or is it like Profit Centre is a completely different department, who runs its own activities, involving an element of both costs and revenue?
Perhaps it will be better if you could give an example of Profit Centre
A profit centre is a division where the manager has responsibility for both revenues and costs. For example a company may have lots of shops in various towns. If they decide to treat them as profit centres then they will measure the performance of each shop individually on how much profit it makes.
