    Good morning Sir,
Just to confirm I have just seen on PQ Magazine that there are some changes for Sep-20 session, around the topics of big data and data analytics.

Also some changes on performance data and a new section on risk around IS and data analytics.

I wonder if these changes have already been implemented in the notes/lectures here and if are they key for the exam?

    Thanks

    Leo

Yes – the syllabus changes for all exams were listed on the ACCA website some time ago (they are always listed on the last page of the syllabuses).
They have been implemented in our notes and the lectures that go with them to the extent that they are relevant for the exam 🙂

Thank you for the prompt reply.
I watched your lectures since last September 2019 could I please confirm which lectures have been updated since?

Also is it likely that one or th big data question will be one of the 20 marks question in sec C?
    Thanks
    Leo

Sorry but I don’t keep a record of when and which lectures I update – we always keep our lectures up to date. From memory it is those lectures covering the last few chapters of the lecture notes.

Big data could be asked as a written part of a Section C questions, but it would not comprise the whole of the question (and obviously there would be no calculations involved).
