How long should you take before you resit the exam my mark was 71
June 14, 2020 at 8:13 pm #573799Hi Vimbie, Thank you for your query but thats not really one that a tutor can answer.
Its more one for your peer-community on CIMA P1 ( see Open Tuition student forums) – other students may advise + support based on their own experiences.I do know that students who are close to 100 ( eg 91 or so) should usually arrange to re-sit as soon as possible because the overall competence is clearly there & a different mix of exam questions will likely result in a pass.
For 71 thats a bit further away. The exams are expensive – I appreciate & unless you think certain circumstances prevented you from performing your best (eg time pressure or one/two topics youd not remembered fully – then I think youd be best creating a revision plan & trying again when you feel you are overall performing better.
Also MYCIMA details should offer you some advice on where you failed to pick up enough marks so you can target the revision and optimise use of your time. Many Thanks
