While I go through solutions to this question, I am confused as to how they calculate Sales Revenue is Year 3 and Year 4. How have they arrived at 1.052 and 1.053 numbers?
BPP have mistyped. It should read 1.05^2 (because 2 years inflation at 5%) and 1.05^3 (because 3 years inflation at 5%).
However although it is mistyped, the figures they arrive at are correct 🙂
Okay thanks Jhon. I spend nearly 1 hour trying to find out how these figures arrive.
