When a private company re-registers as a public company and it has allotted share capital of at least £50,000. Does it have to get a trading certificate before permitted trading as a public company? Thank you.
I believe that it does have to get a trading certificate – the idea behind a trading certificate is to show that the company satisfies the requirements for minimum share capital and it’s not sufficient simply to tell the Registrar that ‘Oh, and by the way, we have more than £50,000 allotted share capital’
