Sir the technical article based on this topic seems to suggest that learning period for a firm should be extended. I don’t understand why? Isnt it much better for the firm to have the staff learn faster than slowly(extend learning period)?

May 6, 2020 at 8:07 am #570122The length of the learning period is separate from the speed of learning.
Certainly we want the workers to learn at as fast a rate as possible. In addition, regardless of the rate of learning, we want them to continue learning for as long as possible.
Training employees will increase the rate at which they learn. Continuing to train employees will hopefully result in them getting faster for longer – if you stop training them after a month then they stop getting faster, but if you carry on training them for six months then they will continue getting faster for six months.
