Hello Mike,
I could not find the answers to examples in chapter 18 in the course notes. Could you give a clue how to check if my understanding of the exercises is appropriate?

There’s a surprise! I seem to recollect that the answers either a) do not exist, or b) are included within the notes but shown as answers to chapter 17 ( or is it chapter 19 )
