My question might sound easy but i want to make sure if its a typo in my exam kit or I misunderstand the calculation
Question 1 The time taken to produce the first unit was 100 hour. The time for second unit was 90 hour What is the learning curve %? Answer in kaplan is 95.
It is certainly not a typo – the answer is correct.
The average time per unit for the first two units is (100 + 90) / 2 = 95 hours.
Therefore the learning rate is 95/100 = 95%.
I really do suggest that you watch my free lectures on learning curves, because this is a common question. My lectures are a complete free course for Paper PM and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
