Hi guys I’ve just written my F9 paper and managed to pass. However, I never managed to pass F7 and so wanted to know if it’s possible to go ahead and write P2 without passing F7. Will i be allowed to do so?
Thanks
My understanding is that you can sit P2 as long as you are also sitting F7
To register for any Strategic Professional exam you must also register for any outstanding Applied Skills exams. In theory you could enter for FR and SBR but as both exams are scheduled for the same day you couldn’t sit both even if you wanted to. This is deliberate in ACCA’s exam schedule – SBR is a huge step up from FR and I would strongly advise you to pass FR before moving on to SBR. If you want to attempt a Strategic Professional exam alongside clearing the Applied Skills level you could consider SBL or an option (not AAA).
