Equitable remedies exist because a compensation of a monetary amount is not appropriate. If someone builds a wall outside my window, I don’t want money compensation – I want to enjoy my right of light ( Injunction – stop building that wall! )

If someone is refusing to perform according to their obligations – for example, they are refusing to sell me a rare vase at the price we agreed, I can ask the Court for help. I don’t want money – I want the vase at the agreed price ( Specific performance – deliver that rare vase to Mike at the agreed price )

    Better?
