Hello, for Corporate and business law (English) Is it possible to have marks if you correctly choose 3 correct answers only out of 6 answers.
Can half marks still be obtained?or in cases whereby you have to choose 2 answers, and you got only one correct answer, is it possible to have half of the marks?
For both section A (MCQ) and section B (MTQ)
I’ve just attempted section A of the ACCA’s specimen law exam within which there were 5 questions where I had to select 2 options from a list of 4
When I selected 2 correct options, I scored 2 marks.
When I selected 1 correct and 1 incorrect, I scored …. no marks
So it’s all or nothing

But what about section B where we have MTQs and the answers weigh 6 marks.
Won’t we score any marks for partly correct answer?
I think that you’ll find that those 6 mark questions are subdivided into 2 or 3 separate smaller sections worth 2 or 3 marks per question
However, tomorrow I shall access part B and, if I’m wrong, I’ll get back to you (I’ll get beck to you even if I’m right!)

Just tried question 46 from the ACCA’s specimen English law paper
It seems that, where you have to select 2 options from a possible 4 available, you get credit for 2 marks if both choices are correct and you get 1 mark if only one of your choices is correct
So, in summary, in Section A , it’s all or nothing whereas in Section B you score for each correct option that you choose
