Is it correct that an offer is not effective until has been communicated to the offeree
Also what are the differences between promisor and acceptor. I think both of them make promise
And what are the differences between promisor and offerer. Are promisor and offerer as well as promisee offeree same
Yes – that is, it cannot be accepted before the purported ‘acceptor’ knows about the offer
A promisor makes a promise
An acceptor receives a promise
A promise is made but does not require acceptance – but it does need to be under seal if it’s to be enforceable
An offer requires two-way consideration and needs acceptance
An offeror makes an offer
A promisor makes a promise
