    Dear Tutor,

Can you please confirm or decline if what I heard was true: in CIMA exam (for example E1) the topics from other papers can come up as well or this exam will contain only what was covered for E1 exam preparation?

Thank you very much in advance.

Only E1 topics will appear in E1. This is the only way it could work as CIMA does not specify that you should do E1, P1 and F1 in any particular order.

Thank you very much! Can I please also ask if this is the same case with say E3? Will only E3 topics come up in E3 exam, or you should expect E1 and E2 questions?

I have not found a guarantee from CIMA that, say, E1 material would mever appear in E2 or E3. However, I have never seen an example of that either in CIMA material nor in Kaplan’s or BPP’s. The syllabuses at each level are usually very different and I think you are safe to treat each OT exam as stand-alone.
