Question: Tom has been continuously employed by xyz Ltd for 6 months.
Which of the following are available to Tom according to the Employment Rights Act 1996?
1) Wrongful dismissal
2) A written statement of particulars from his employer
3) Redundancy paya) 1 and 2 only
b) 1 and 3 only
c) 1 only
d) 1 2 and 3
In the above question, what does 2) : A written statement of particulars from his employer mean. What particulars are listed in this statement for a person who has been dismissed. Also why the correct answer is really the correct one.November 10, 2019 at 4:39 am #551915Your question doesn’t make sense! There’s no mention in the question that Tom is thinking of leaving nor that he has been dismissed
In addition, what does “Why the correct answer is really the correct one?” mean?

November 14, 2019 at 9:36 pm #552665A written statement of employment particulars is given to an employee within 2 months of the employment starting.
It is NOT the same as an employment contract but contains details similar to an employment contract
OK?
