Hi , thank you for this wonderful site

I am a 48 Year student who currently works full time and a distant learner with Arden University . I am currently studying BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance.

I know we will be credit for 9 subjects

The ACCA Syllabus – List of examinations
You will need to complete 13 papers in total. A maximum of nine papers in the Fundamentals level are available for exemption.

The exams have to be taken in the following order:

Applied Knowledge > Applied Skills > Strategic Professional (Essentials + Options)

I understand that I will have to pass 13 exams in total

I would have to complete Strategic Professional (Essentials + Options)

    SBL -SBR

    AND

    AFM -APM
    ATX – AAA

can you confer that I will become and accountant once I pass these papers , or do i have to more exams or any external exams or registration

would you award the Accountant Certification to work in the accountant field.

    many thanks
    Indy naidoo

    Hi Indy,

In order to be ACCA qualified, all of the ACCA exams you detailed above should be cleared either by exemption or exam pass, complete your three-year working experience record signed by a qualified accountant, and pass the online ethics exam.

You can start by registering with ACCA as a student and then apply for exemptions. Once that’s done, book your exam, study or prepare for the exam, and bobs your uncle.

Only ACCA can award the certification once you satisfy the requirements. Open Tuition is a site you can use to study. They have fantastic tutors, lectures, and learning materials. All for free.

    Good luck!

    ED
