Hi just something on CBE’s, with the ones where you have to type in the answer is there any lee way on rounding. Ive just done the acca specimen paper and i got the answer 131.11 but the answer was 131.12 it obviously marked it incorrect in the actual exam is there no lee way for slight rounding errors? As its obvious i knew what i was doing…Or is that just part and parcel of computer marked
Thank you
If the full answer is 131.115 then the computer will accept 131.11 or 131.12.
However if it is 131.114 then you round down to 131.11, and if it is 131.116 you round up to 131.12.
