Hi, Ref P5 question section A
I have a small question as regards the budget of BEC.
The budget for BEC was for 6900 students in various streams however the actual was 7200 in various streams.
The costs are given for 8000 students.
Now in the solution, the budget is made but there is a problem i have
Revenue is based on the budget which is 6900 units / students
costs are based on the actuals which is 7200 units / students
If you can guide me, thanks
I remembered there was something very awkward in the solution of this question, as I compared the Examiner’s Answer and the BPP Answer together, which were remarkably different.
I actually paid less attention towards part (i), and focused more on the Fitzgerald and Moon’s Dimensions of performance measurements in part (ii).
It appears, as if they’ve FLEXED the Budget.
