I know this question comes up time and again but I am really not sure which optional papers to take. I have decided on P5 as I got 69% in P3 and I have Management Accounting experience so feel it would be a good fit.
However, I cannot decide between P4 and P7. I got 59% in F9 in Dec ’11 and 65% for F8 in Jun ’11. Although I did better in Audit I found F9, and Financial Management in general, a far more interesting subject. But most of all I would just like to pass these December exams and qualify.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
And it would also be good to hear views on all the options papers as I’m sure there are many students in this position.

Mostly because I find it a far more practical exam for me as I work in industry and the knowledge this paper gives you is important from that perspective. I also find it more interesting than audit so I think I knew it was always going to be P4 I was just put off by the comments on difficulty which I think is irrelevant when you get to the Options papers.
