Check up the details on the ACCA website. However, as a general comment, it’s MOST IMPROBABLE that your result will change. The re-check is restricted to making sure that all pages have been marked and that the marks have been correctly added. It DOES NOT involve a re-mark!

Spend your money if you wish …. but be prepared to remain disappointed …and poorer!

Incidentally, 68% of your fellow students also failed so you’re in good company!

    If that helps!

What can I say? “Stop failing”???? “Stop going wrong”????

Have you tried giving some mock answers of yours to an independent person and asking then critically to appraise your efforts? It doesn’t have to be an accountant / auditor. All that is necessary is that they are educated and honest ( if necessary, brutally honest ). I presume that you don’t have a tutor and you’re not attending any courses.

Are you writing enough? 25 separate, markable, relevant points for a 25 mark question? Is your writing legible? Are you attempting 100% worth of marks in the exam – or are you missing off parts of questions? Is your time allocation correct and you are not maybe stealing from part c in order to complete part ab of a question? Are you really answering the question – paying GREAT attention to the verb?

    Well, are you?

    Hi Mike,

great insight into why intellengtly smart people fail.

i love your perspectives on the matter at hand, often we (students) are engrossed with a section of the exam at the expense of others. Personally i’ve experienced this when i ended up with 49% grade when i left a whole 25marks question undone. i ctually forgot a question exist called preparing financial statement in paper f7.

it is true that we answer our questions most of the time not necessarily the examiner questions. There is need for discline with time allocation. the place of covering/attempting the 100 marks questions cant be over-emphasised. there is need for coverage.

Gabriel! Thank you so much for that little vote of confidence. It really is good to know that what I ( and the other OT tutors ) say actually does make sense to you students and that you profitably take the advice on board.
