Whats the general consensus on the papers P4-P7? Fingers crossed i will be needing to select an option paper to tackle with P3 in December
I just sat F9 as a retake, with P2, i was succesful first attempt, and i put this down to doing F7 just before, hence having a lot of carried forward knowledge fairly fresh in my head. Is P4 a monster? i was thinking of maybe using the same technique
Are the option papers all personal preference?

– work requirements: If you are in auditing, then you will need to do P7 (I did P7)
– personal preference: My personal preference was P6 as I found tax easy and I though it the easiest for me to complete ACCA
– ease of completion: it is said that the ease of passing the papers from easiest to hardest are P5, P6, P7, P4 or P5, P7, P6, P4. In either case, P4 seems the hardest and requires a very good understanding of financial management (way beyond what you learnt at F9). - AuthorPosts
