Hello! I took Financial Accounting exam in june 14 afterwards i didn’t had any experience regarding accounting and didn’t studied it afterwards. Now I am planning to attempt FR in december 19. The question is should i go to FA lectures first and study it all or should go straight towards FR letures ?
It is correct that Financial Accounting knowledge is pre-assumed in Financial Reporting, however you don’t need to watch the lectures all over again. The knowledge is revised in Financial Reporting syllabus and is fully covered in free lectures & lecture notes.
All you need to do is watch FR lectures along with lecture notes and you’ll have everything you need to pass this exam. Good luck!
