I currently am struggling to purchase latest text books so was wondering if I could use older versions that I already have?

Yes, you can. These are very technical books. I’d say you can use old books for F1-F5, F8-F9, and probably F7 in a more recent edition. Definitely not F6 Tax.
September 17, 2019 at 12:22 pm #546394No. The syllabuses for all of the exams have changed since 2014 (including both MA (was F2) and FA (was F3).
You should not use such old textbooks. Our lectures are up-to-date for all papers, and if you are watching our free lectures then you do not really need a textbook.
What is important is that you buy current editions of the Revision Kit for whichever exams you are studying, from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers . They contain lots f exam-standard questions for practice, and practice is vital to passing the exams. (You can get a 20% discount off BPP books if you follow the link on this page.)

Could i use the Kaplan 21/22 book for F1 for the september exam ?
Thank youJuly 3, 2023 at 3:43 pm #687606@aminaengelb – welcome to our forums! Please note that it better to ask on a new thread and in the forum relevant to the exam rather than a 4-year old thread in this “general forum”.
But to answer your question, although there were no syllabus changed for BT/FBT for 22/23, there are some changes for 23/24 – see the last 4 pages of the syllabus which you can download from here: https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f1/syllabus-study-guide.html
Although there are a lot of “reworded” changes, you will need to note the “removed from syllabus” learning outcomes.
