    Hi
    I can see you have previously answered questions on the learning curve, but I am still having problems calculating the learning rate, when this is not provided in the question..
    q49 – 2012 parctice and revision kit
    I can see that 22.71/30.00 = 0.757, but I cant seem to get the next step to get to 0.87 (87%)

    Please help, its driving me mad 🙁

    I don’t know what revision kit you have. However, looking at the figures it would seem that the cumulative output has probably doubled twice between the cumulative average times of 30 and 22.71. So, if the learning rate is L, it will have been applied twice as follows:

    30 x L x L = 22.71
    L x L = 22.71/30 = 0.757
    L = square root of 0.757 = 0.87
