Im fairly confident with knowledge of the P1 syllabus ,i can recite facts about the main topics confidently, and when approaching the practice questions i can write what i would consider a good answer
However, my answers are nothing like those in the practice kit, completety off the mark. I think im answering too much like a F paper, not applying knowledge to the scenario. Does anyone have advice on how to approach the questions?

Read the answers to the questions in your kit instead of trying it yourself. Understand their approach.
Its perfectly normal to have completely different answer from the ideal answer. As long as you answer the question set and make sense, you are safe.
