I have just completed taxation and have been told by the AAT that I can get the full AAT qualification if I complete F9 or F8, in addition to the papers I have already passed(f1-f4). I have not yet done F5. Is it okay to do F5 before F9? Will there be assumed knowledge from F5?
I am up to chapter 8 on FM and find the topics to be manageable. I plan to get a BPP study text and revision kit to supplement my studies.
You should have no problem taking Paper FM (used to be F9) before Paper PM (used to be F5).
If you are watching my free lectures then there is not really any need for the Study Text – the lectures are a complete free course and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well. What is essential however is that you do buy a Revision Kit, because it contains lots of past exam and other exam standard questions. Practice is vital to passing the exam.
