Bpp has given 8 circumstances in which a member ceases to be a member; amongst those 3 are very confusing:
No. 1 : the shares of a bankrupt member are registered in the name of his trustee.
Question: so the bankrupt member ceases to be a member. but
does the trustee himself becomes a member?
and what is the role of trustee in such situation?
who is the beneficiary , for whom trustee is acting?
NO. 2 : the trustee of a bankrupt member disclaims his shares .
Question: who ceases to be a member now trustee or bankrupt member, and if bankrupt member , does not he already ceased to be a member?
and whose shares are being disclaimed here, trustee’s or bankrupt member’s?
No. 3 : the company forfeits or accepts the surrender of shares.
Question: I do not understand no. 3 at all , specifically, how come a company when forfeits a member ceases to be a member?please explain with help of an example.May 6, 2012 at 6:39 pm #96112number 3, the company tells the member that the member’s shares are forfeit. Or the member surrenders his / her shares to the company.
Numbers 1 and 2, I have no idea, I don’t want to know, I have no intention of finding out and I suggest you adopt the same attitude.
To my knowledge, it has never been asked and is rrather too specific to warrant any more of your attention!
May 6, 2012 at 7:22 pm #96113Sir I really am sorry , perhaps , for asking too many questions and I know this can be my problem, but if it is possible for you please explain no. 1 and 2 , a little bit, I mean I really wanna know and I swear I would not argue like I have done in past.
May 8, 2012 at 10:06 am #96114Hi Wahab, no worries – I’m fine with you asking questions. However, in my previous post I started by saying “I have no idea, I don’t want to know, I have no intention of finding out ….”
Now, what does that tell you?
🙂
