hey mike
Any chance of a wonderful explanation of yours in this example? I was trying EX 5 Didzis and Ansis. Just wondering if there is an easier way than the one in the OT answers!
Thanks you are legend!! Your lectures are great and really helpful!!
Hi Viken
I thought a leg end was a foot?
Now, Didzis. What’s the problem with “H’s own b/f + H’s share of S post acq retained b/f – goodwill impaired since acquisition b/f ( just our share )”?
I really cannot see any way of simplifying working 3A.
In fact, if you look at the question, the figures virtually jump off the page at you. 174 + (75% x ( 37 – 18 ) ) – 75% x 75% x the goodwill figure.
What’s your problem? Seriously, how come you find it “not easy”?
