Hi All,
I’ve been working through the BPP Revision Booklet (Struggling quite a bit with writing enough content for each question but ah well) but i’ve noticed how much writing there actually is. I was under the impression this was more of a ‘mathsy’ paper. But all of these questions have essay style writing with little to no calculations required.
I’ve now started to focus on the theory rather than the maths. Do we know what an average weighting of maths to writing is? I’m worried I’m going to encounter a purely maths driven paper now after focusing on the theory.

This is not a maths exams – nor is it a theory exam – there are very few marks for stating theory – the vast majority of marks are for application of knowledge to the scenario.
Make sure you have read the examiner’s approach article to understand what’s expected.
I recommend you attempt Qs 3 & 4 from the D18 exam and use the article “Read the mind of an SBR marker – part 2” to help you assess your answer.
