Hi All,
I am currently an ACCA Affiliate and working as a Finance Assistant. My employer is not aware about my current status as when I joined the company I only told them I was part qualified. The reason is most employers dont accept people who are qualified as they expect us to have wide range of experience. I dont feel good about this and looking for ways to disclose this to my manager.
What advise will you give me with such a situation.

I’d say most of the time people keep such things to themselves, as the boss will (I’d assume) think you are asking for a raise.
Myself, my companies knew I was studying and so telling them just enforced the fact I was studying and working at the same time.
If you don’t want to tell them, don’t.
But if you’re after experiences to get qualified status, telling them may help them be more understanding and flexible – so you can get the experience.
Even to the point of literally saying “Just to let you know, I’m now an affiliate as have passed all my exams”
