Hi all,
Wondering if you can assist!
Is there any difference between performance measurement and performance management? Really confused…………
February 19, 2012 at 2:37 pm #94526Performance management is doing things to improve the performance of the business e.g. controlling costs better
Performance measurement is measuring the performance of the business e.g. have costs fallen, has profit increased.

there are similarities between Business Analysis and Advanced performance Management?

December 3, 2012 at 6:51 pm #94531Kindly Explain Models link Such as Balance scorecard and Building block . . . wether they are part of performance measurement or performance management ??? and kindly give some example of Systems which is part of syllabus under the heading of Performance measurement and Performance Management . and Kindly answer me before 6th December if possible . Thank you
December 3, 2012 at 8:01 pm #94532Models are there to simplify performance reporting, and the specific results are used by different levels of management to achieve an organisational strategy. Look into June 2012 Q1 for a good example of how you classify the cluttered data according to the needs of different managers.
An Enterprise Resource Planning system should come to mind when a central database is used to collate data and interpret results. It also can be extended outside the company to include close competitors’ systems for benchmarking, or linked to suppliers and customers’ systems for a well integrated value-chain.
