I decided yesterday to switch exam from AFM to APM.. I know I have limited time to study for AAA, which I am retaking and APM but I know this is very possible to write and pass in June exam. Going forward, I know every minute counts and I want to make beat use of it. I do I approach this paper to pass in June?
Read our notes and listen to our lectures, trying one or two of the recommended questions (if not on the ACCA site, they can usually be found by Googling something like “ACCA P5 December 2012”
Then, ideally having bought a revision kit/question bank from BPP or Kaplan (20% discount on BPP books bought through this site), practise lots of questions. Approach them first from a common sense perspective then back-up your answers with theory, but do not describe the theories – apply them. Only go back to notes/text for further clarification if needed.
Also, read the technical articles on the ACCA’s site.
