Passed, Thanks Opentution. Bit Trickier than I thought!
June 3, 2019 at 7:33 pm #518624The AB examination was very very technical as the questions set by the examiner were from topics no one would have thought.
it requires a proper understanding of each topic and intelligence guessing to be successful in the exam.
I can not wait to be a Chartered (Scattered) Accountant as this is really mind-blowing.June 13, 2019 at 2:39 pm #520387I spent 1 week trying to remember every single theorist about what he said but at the end of the day only 2-3 theorists were in the exam. It was just general knowledge depending on what you learned from the syllabus. I found it somehow hard.
July 1, 2019 at 9:36 am #521602the exam was very practical with the concepts taught in the book. I found it very tricky as many things were application based which was not mentioned in either of Kaplan and bpp. it was more dependent on your previous knowledge about business rather than theory.
July 20, 2019 at 4:52 pm #524415This was the most difficult exam among all three knowledge level papers. I did not prepared for this exam well but end up getting decent score. All thanks open tuition lectures.
July 21, 2019 at 4:40 pm #524484I am going to start f1 from open tuition what do you advice
July 31, 2019 at 3:44 pm #525752Passed, thanks Open Tuition. Your lectures and notes helped me gain a decent understanding within two months and a pass of 70%.
August 10, 2019 at 12:20 pm #527074The exam was fair, if l am being honest. Theorist’s where in the exam as promised. And mastering them is very important, and you would see that most of the questions are applied knowledge, so you would need to read the examples they use to describe such theories to properly understand them.
August 12, 2019 at 7:19 am #527182It’s so impressive to hear that people are passing… I will be writing AB in December this year. I need guidance on how I can make it. Am currently using the open tuition notes and videos. Thank you

August 20, 2019 at 4:44 pm #528236Thank to OT.Took the paper last week friday and passed with 59%. Fairly did well tho. On to the rest.
September 11, 2019 at 1:57 pm #545853I would seriously advice you to go for it. You really don’t have to consider paying extra for any tuition aside from Open tuition. I would advice you to get an ACCA approved Past question from either BPP or Kaplan to ensure adequate examination preparation. I am saying this because it has worked for me so far. Big ups to open tuition for this gift of knowledge!
September 14, 2019 at 11:30 am #546140First ever exam passed 🙂 I was very nervous and took my time to read each question numerous times. I used Open tuition lectures and notes, gone through the BPP Revision kit and done a few free online mock exams. Some questions were complicated enough, they sure try to make it hard to understand. I found the simplest of topic was asked by such a lenghtly question, it can easily confuse you. So in that sense I found it unfair to ask a question that way, even though I learnt the topic, I ended up guessing the answer as it was not clear what was the question exactly. Very silly system. But all in all, it is passable, but not by as high score as I was expecting.
September 28, 2019 at 1:03 pm #547547I passed this exam in 2 months preparation by watching open tuition lectures and going through all the questions on BPP revision kit. Make sure you understand every single theory and try apply it when answering the questions. Question won’t be very easy as examiner is now trying to make it more difficult and complete understanding of each concept is required to pass this exam well. I found fraud and internal control as the most examinable area but it’s important to learn all the theories involved in this paper. Good luck for your ACCA exams.
November 2, 2019 at 12:34 pm #551441Thanks opentuition. Scored 80% on my first attempt of FAB on 28th October. Your videos definitely cleared up areas I was unsure of after reading my BPP text.
Thanks a million
November 5, 2019 at 8:09 pm #551628I passed FAB on my first time. I have all materials from college (books and exam kit) but i decided to look opentuition notes and lecture + test + practical test I both from acca! And as English not my first language I still pass it at 57%
Thx opentuition.!!! Will prepare for f3 nowNovember 6, 2019 at 7:53 am #551662@panuskina said:

January 13, 2020 at 12:49 pm #558367I passed this exam 2 weeks ago with only 1 weeks revision. I used open tuition and some youtube videos, quite straightforward. However, I may have found this easy as I did A-level Business studies 20 years ago. Stark contrast to MA which I find so difficult to understand and as a result have yet to sit the exam, way too much maths to remember!!!
