Yes. I wrote about Q4(c), Q3 and Q1(b).
About Q3 I wrote on 5th Dec. Still no answer. Maybe they have too many cimplains to deal with.
About two others I wrote a week later.

And guys how do you like that:
From the syllabus
Outline the objectives of a budgetary control system
From Q3
Identify and explain SIX objectives of a budgetary control system
for 9 marks!!!!
Slightly different verbsoutline
and
Identify and explain
don’t you think so?
And how about this
Q3
Discuss the concept of a participative style of budgeting
casuistry?
well we all know what is participative non participative budget but if we talk about syllabus where it comes from? Definitely part C para 5 Behavioral aspects of budgeting. What do we have there is
a) Identify the factors which influence behaviour – may be but not straightforward
b) Discuss the issues surrounding setting the difficulty level – not at all
c) Explain the benefits and difficulties of the participation of employees in the negotiation of targets. – here we are but don’t you think the exam Q for 11!!!!! marks wasslightly
above the syllabus?

Message prompted : Sorry, page not foundDecember 20, 2011 at 12:34 pm #91689The syllabus for F5 has been updated for 2012 (same for all papers). However the December 2011 past exam paper has also been removed from the website.
I’m very curious to see how they address the problem.

Yes, I noticed that as well. Why did they do that?
P.S. No answer to my e-mails yet.

A3b is on a first page.December 26, 2011 at 10:53 am #91692This is the answer I received re Q4(c) and Q1(b):
” We are aware that Q4 part c had some syllabus issues. The syllabus from June 2011 removed the requirement for discussion of ‘implications’ of life cycle costing but instead replaced with the discussion of ‘benefits’ of life cycle costing. Q4 of the exam asked for the implications which means giving both benefits and draw backs too. We are therefore giving FULL marks (4) for any sensible discussion of benefits only which most students are answering. We are also giving generous credit for general description of life cycle costing. We assure you that students should be getting full marks for any reasonable attempt to this part of the questionPlease await for the model answers to be released to assist with any further enquiries. This should be around early-mid February.”
