    Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help or advise if there is anything I can do now… I must admit this has made me feel very down.

I was to attempt AFM during the March session but felt unwell at the time. I went to a doctor and received a medical certificate.

It was then translated into English by a sworn translator and once I had the translation I was able to send all required documents to students@accaglobal.com. I sent them only to find out that I missed the deadline and can no longer do anything. I missed it because there was another time in the past when I was ill and couldn’t attempt the exam. I was actually given a lot of time to provide all documents although I admittedly started the query very fast at the time.

I guess this can happen when you’re self-learning… The question is, is there anything that I can do at this point, besides sucking it up and studying as hard as I can to pass it without any resits (which I intend to do anyway)?

    Thanks a lot!

I would suggest getting in touch with ACCA largely repeating the information you have given in above post and asking whether anything can be done or whether there is an internal appeals process you could potentially utilise. I would suggest doing the above will cost you little and could potentially see you possibly partially compensated.Sorry to hear about your bad luck.Hope this post helps.
