Hi,
I’m planning to sit SBR in June 19, and this will be my first professional exam. I’m planning to start reading through study texts and watch lectures soon.
From anyone that is planning to complete SBR or completed SBR, how long would you recommend is needed to study for this exam? Its seeming really daunting and I want to give my self the best shot possible to pass in June. Any advice or tips would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I took SBR in this year’s March sitting and I started studying for it on Jan 10th I believe. It’s really tough! Cover the whole syllabus, read all the technical articles, especially the one’s about conceptual framework and exposure draft as this is tested in every sitting in SBR.
In my opinion, you don’t need the study text. Watch all the OT lectures (or another high quality online tuition provider) and then practice, practice and practice questions in a BPP or Kaplan revision kit. I would also advise on the last week before the exam to go through the entire revision kit, read the questions and then learn the answers at least twice.
