wats the standard way of doing the consolidation questionworkings ….i.e.account form or statement form..??
i heard that marks will be deducted if u do the workings in account form..is it true??
Why do you listen to people who have NO IDEA??? You can do the workings in whatever way you want! You can even do the question WITHOUT workings ( you’ll most likely fail the exam, so I certainly wouldn’t recommend such a cavalier approach! )
For many years I used a T account approach to consolidations and was only slowly persuaded to change to a schedule approach.
Do whichever way you feel comfortable with and DO NOT listen to colleagues who claim to know different!
And good luck on Wednesday
