CAN YOU PLEASE TEACH ME LIFO/WEIGHT AVERAGE METHOD,IF YOU CAN TEACH WAY …I AM LITTLE CONFUSE THANKSMarch 3, 2019 at 9:19 am #507257Please don’t type in capital letters.
I explain the methods in my free lectures. The lectures are a complete free course for Paper MA and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
If you are unclear about any point in the lectures then say which bit is confusing you.
March 9, 2019 at 9:23 pm #508850hi sir,
my question is this?lifo12 November numbers of units are 80 but how the cost per unit 4.40 come from ?then 20 units are from 8 November .but how 60 units come from?
can you please explain me ….
I already bought pratice book of Kaplan.can I buy bpp pratice.book also .?March 10, 2019 at 10:43 am #508896I assume that you are referring to example 2 in our free lecture notes.
The 80 that are sold on 12 November are coming from the most recent purchase of 140 that were bought on 8 November, and therefore cost $4.40 per unit.
That means that they are the left with 60 of the units that were bought on 8 November (140 – 80), and of course they will have the 20 units that were in inventory at the start of the period and cost $4.00 per unit.
Have you watched the free lectures where I work through and explain the examples? (If you are not watching the lectures for any reason then you must buy a Study Text from one of the ACCA approved publishers and study from there)
Yes – of course you can buy a BPP Revision Kit if you want. You will then have even more questions to practice 🙂

March 14, 2019 at 9:28 am #509304This would appear to have nothing to do with the valuation of inventory, and so please start a new thread.
I have no idea which publishers Revision Kit you are referring to, and also it seems as though you might be referring to the MA1 Paper from the FIA exams – if so then you are posting in the wrong forum.
