February 28, 2019 at 11:19 pm #506917Hi, I assume you are giving the exam in June. So I would recommend to study by Kaplan study text, go thoroughly over all the chapters, make some notes as well and most important practice questions especially from past papers.
When you’ve covered the study text, practice long section C questions on Excel and Word i.e. on the computer this will increase your speed and help with presentation.March 1, 2019 at 7:41 am #506946If you are watching our free lectures then you do not really need a study text – the lectures are a complete free course and cover everything needed to pass the exam well.
The book that is essential (however you choose to study) is a Revision Kit, because that is full of past exam questions (and other exam-standard questions) to practice. Practice is vital to passing the exam. BPP and Kaplan are the ACCA approved Kits and both are as good as each other.
For practicing using the computer, you should attempt the specimen computer exams on the ACCA website.
May 2, 2019 at 3:35 pm #514792in CBE O/T questions where you have to select 2 or more correct statements by ticking their boxes, if you get one of the statements wrong do you still get part marks for the ones you got correct or you lose the whole 2marks even if you got 1 correct?
